Debbie’s Treasure Chest is completely a 100% volunteer organization at this time. The following is a list of volunteer opportunities, however, if you have an idea about volunteering we are open to exploring new ideas. Please email maxine@debbiestreasurechest.org with your questions.

Currently our warehouse, known as the Treasure Chest, located in the Everett Mills, 15 Union Street, Suite 411, Lawrence, MA is staffed by differently abled young adults and their teachers.

We are looking for adults to volunteer to staff the Treasure Chest on a weekly basis so we can expand our hours to accommodate more customers. The position requires a person, who is 18 years or older, who can work independently and is comfortable with our clients. Please note this position is not available for anyone looking to complete community service hours as ordered by a court.

Treasure Chest reorganization and clean up volunteers. Twice a year we need volunteers to help with spring and winter cleaning of the Treasure Chest.  The next cleanup will be this summer. The date will be announced.

If you are interested in volunteering for the Treasure Chest,  please email linda@debbiestreasurechest.org.

The past two years, we have partnered with the Methuen Police and Fire Departments to grant the holiday wishes of local children. We are always looking for volunteers to help with the drive. You may be delivering toys, helping with the sorting, decorating trees, etc. We are also happy to partner with businesses and other agencies.

If you are interested in the TOY drive, please email talia@debbiestreasurechest.org.

For the past five years, we have purchased new coats for over 1200 local children because of the generosity of the late Mary Lou Ferhmann and her family. We are always looking for shoppers, donors, coordinators etc to help with the drive.

If you are interested in the COAT drive, please email talia@debbiestreasurechest.org.
